Blythe is the Assistant Professor of Music Therapy at Colorado State University. She also owns a music therapy private practice where she primarily works with children with speech disorders and autism. She is happy to be back in Colorado where the opportunities for hiking and biking with beautiful scenery are endless. |

Rachel Nelson is happy to begin a 2nd term as CAMT Board Secretary. She received her music therapy education at CSU and currently applies her MT skills primarily in neurologic rehabilitation. She is also employed as a youth director and relishes the time she and her husband spend with “their” teens. |

Audrey Lyons is a full-time music therapist at Julia Temple Healthcare Center and Chateau des Mons in Englewood, CO. She works with Assisted Living, Skilled and Long Term Care Elders diagnosed with dementia. She lives in Lakewood with her Husband and puppy golden retriever named Tobi. Audrey just started singing with the Littleton Chorale weekly. |

Valerie Kocel, MT-BC

Valerie Kocel moved to Denver in 2008 and owns a private practice called Music Therapy Rocks where she provides music therapy for children with autism and Down syndrome. She is married to a wonderful man named Paul and loves playing with her 2 dogs. Her favorite part about Colorado is the scenery, especially the mountains! |

Deborah Palmer, MM, MT-BC, NMT
Deborah Palmer completed her master's degree at CSU in 2007, and then completed her internship at Hospice of Larimer County (Pathways Hospice). She worked in a skilled nursing facility from 2007-2008 and in December 2008, started a private practice called Peak View Music Therapy. She works with a variety of populations which include older adults, dementia, hospice, persons with special needs, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). |

Aileen Ravalo-Voyles, MT-BC, NMT
Aileen Ravalo is a former CSU student. She is a board certified music therapist and currently works with Neurosong Music Therapy Services, Inc. She has dreamed of becoming a music therapist since she was 13, desiring to bring her love for psychology, music and people together. She is now "living the dream". Aileen and her husband live in Fort Collins and together they enjoy cooking, traveling, and enjoy the outdoors of Colorado. |

Lauren Sletta, MT-BC, NMT
Lauren Sletta is currently enrolled at CSU working towards her master’s degree. She enjoys trying new things, playing volleyball with friends, and taking her dogs everywhere to swim. She loves working with children with disabilities and psychopathology. Lauren chose to become an MT because she finally found a way to use her love of music to help children. |

Beth specializes in autism and hospice care and she is currently pursuing a master's degree in music therapy at CSU where she serves as an undergraduate practicum supervisor. Beth is looking forward to working as a liaison between MTSA and CAMT this year!. |
