Neurologic Music Therapist

Hours: Part-time, as needed by client load
Salary: hourly rate
Facility: Center for Neurorehabilitation Services (CNS)
Qualifications: MT-BC, NMT
Population: neurologic rehabilitation
Starting date: September, 2007

Description of position: Neurologic music therapist to conduct group and individual sessions, participate in client team meetings and create client treatment plans. Must be an independent worker with a strong understanding of neurologic music therapy. Candidate must have good communication skills, organizational skills and the ability to work as part of a treatment team. Neurologic rehabilitation experience preferred.

Dear CAMT Members,

Longmont United Hospital is seeking a Music Therapist with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy, board certified, hospital experience preferred. Duties will include: Music Therapy on all hospital units, must be comfortable with individual and group sessions. Will work with the Music Therapy Coordinator and cover for coordinator in her absence. Flexible schedule and ability to work independently are necessary for this position.
